Now fast forward to January 2024 where those grandmothers are being tear-gassed just as they were on that day Trump ordered the national guard to clear the street so he could walk across it to hold a bible upside down in front of a church. 60 years after we signed the Civil Rights Act, we continue to feel the echos of the Deep South, when men like the Great Martin Luther King jr. marched peacefully for Justice and were met by tyrannical governors. Now NATIONALIZE that drama…and FEDERALIZE that trauma.

The Supreme Court has bowed out of their role as keepers of the Constitution, and are unleashing a Kent State in every college, and a Selma Style response on every bridge from the Golden Gate to the Edmund Pettus.

We saw a glimpse of Donald Trump's American Carnage during his 4-year term, and we witnessed the abuse he has dished out since he first rode that golden escalator down to the lobby of Trump Tower with his trophy wife on his arm. Tonight at the RNC Convention his family looked like hostages...much like America itself. Don't let the maxi-pad on the side of his head fool you. That ear stopped bleeding a long time ago. Trump is not humbled...Trump is not a changed man...He's not repentant...He's not saved...Trump is Trumpier than ever...just ask JD Vance.

And now the battle for the soul of America has moved from the streets and bridges to the courtrooms and the boardrooms. The Heritage foundation has claimed the mantle of Trumpism and is clearly chomping on the bit to proclaim victory. Not just the Harbingers of a post Dobbs decision reality, they literally wrote the manual for pending autocracy. Project 2025 is the coffee table book for the Apocalypse. The revolution will be televised, satirized and monetized. Let the games begin.

Ugh. Of course Melania was there...how much do you think the RNC paid for that?
